Today we are going to Review this Redmi 9 coming in the starting price of Rs. 8999 and we will tell you whether this mobile will be best for you or not. Also we will know how different this mobile is from Realme C12 and Narzo 20A.
Redmi 9 Review : design
By using Redmi 9, we found that this mobile is slightly longer as well as slightly wider. But if we talk about its thickness and weight, then the thickness of this mobile is around 9 mm and if we talk about the weight then this mobile is of 194 grams.
Xiaomi has given Micro-USB port in this mobile and in its previous model it USB-Type C port in redmi 8.
The Quality of Plastic used in the manufacture of this mobile is good and hence this mobile becomes very strong. The camera module has been given in square shape on the back side of this mobile, which is given in almost all the mobiles coming in the present time.
There is a Small Circular cut on the back side for the Redmi 9 Fingerprint Sensor, which is slightly smaller than normal, but when we used it, we found that it works well.
In this mobile you get a 7.35 inch IPS HD + display with 420 * 1600 pixel resolution, as well as the viewing angle and colors in this Redmi 9 are very good which is definitely very good compared to Realme C12 and Realme C15. Brightness will also be seen in sufficient quantity in this mobile.
In the box you get a 10 Watt Charger, Data Cable, Sim Tray Ejector and a User Guide with Redmi 9, you are not given any case or cover with this mobile.
Redmi 9 Review: performance
Redmi 9 comes with MediaTek Helio G35 processor, the same processor is also used in Realme C12 and Realme C15. This mobile comes with 2 variants, both have 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM. You can choose between 64 GB storage and 128 GB storage, whose starting price is Rs. 8999 and Rs. 9999 respectively.
The flash storage type used in Redmi 9 is eMMC 5.1. The phone also has Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi and FM Radio. You need to install earphones for radio, but this was not the case with Redmi 8.
This mobile runs on 9 MIUI 12, since it works on mobile Android 10, so it can be said that this mobile is similar to Realme C15 as it also gets the same chipset and RAM.
In Redmi 9 you got to see the Gaming Performance a little weak, games like Grand Mountain run very well, but you can get a little problem in heavy like Asphalt 9. In the display of Redmi 9, you will get good quality of video and its speaker is very loud.
Redmi 9 Review: battery life
Redmi 9 has performed better than our estimate, we can easily use this mobile for one and a half days after full charge. You get 5000 mAh battery backup in Redmi 9. In our HD video loop test, the Redmi 9 lasted 18 hours and 44 minutes, which is a very good time.
Now Talk about the time it takes to charge this battery, it is slightly more. With this, you were able to reach only 40% in an hour with a 10W charger. This mobile does not support fast charging, which may disappoint you a bit.
Redmi 9 Review: cameras
In Redmi 9, you get a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with a 13-megapixel primary rear camera. The camera app in Redmi 9 offers basic shooting mode and there is also a pro mode.
Scare camera module is available in Redmi 9. However, this design has only two cameras, which are on the top side. There is a flash on the left and no sensors are present on the right. So even though it looks like quad rear camera setup, it is actually a dual rear camera setup. In which there is a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
